Coil Car

Scope of Work:
Replaced 4.00” diameter cam rolls and hardened steel wear plates used to guide the other frame during the lifting process
Inspected railroad type flange wheels and replaced anti-friction bearings
Installed new seal kit in hydraulic lift cylinder
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Uncoiler/Snubber Roll

Scope of Work:
Replaced anti-friction cam rollers on traversing base
Installed new seal kit in hydraulic traverse cylinder
Replaced tapered mandrel roller bearings
Replaced #80 double strand drive chain
Installed new seal kit in hydraulic expansion cylinder
Removed mandrel segments to inspect T-slot wedges and replaced inner wear plates
Replaced anti-friction pivot flange bearings of the snubber roll
Installed new seal kit in the Snubber Roll lift cylinder
Replaced bronze bushing of the snubber roll shaft
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Peeler Table/ Pinch Roll

Scope of Work:
Installed new seal kit in peeler extend/retract hydraulic cylinder
Replaced bronze wear plates and cam roll bearings for extend/retract function
Installed new seal kit in the peeler hydraulic lift cylinder
Replaced anti-friction flange bearings
Installed new protective surface top
Recoated polyurethane pinch rolls
Replaced pinch roll roller bearings
Inspected and repaired slide plates of pinch roll rearing block housings
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Sheet Leveler

Scope of Work:
Work rolls were reground
Center holes were machined for regrinding
Intermediate work rolls were reground
Inspected oil lite bronze flange bearings/bushings
Inspected and reground back up roll bearings and shim wedges
Custom bearings were made in house by Delta
Took visual inspection of all anti-backlash screw jacks
Replaced all wedge wear plates
Took visual inspection of the distribution gearbox and gear reducer
Replaced seals and bearings
Inspected tapered roller bearings on the distribution gear box and gear reducer
Replaced centralized lubrication system
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Pit Ramps/Carry Over Tables

Scope of Work:
Replaced all material support rollers
Spur gears and rack were found to be in good condition
Replaced cam followers
Replaced protective surface thread table top
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Edge Guide/LPG Feed Roll

Scope of Work:
Installed new seal kit in the feed roll hydraulic cylinder
Took visual inspection of roller guide width adjustment blocks
Replaced bearings and seals
Replaced feed roll roller bearings
Recoated rubber on top and bottom rolls
Took visual inspection of wear plates
Replaced micarta roll
Replaced center skid table cover
Replaced skid plate
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Electromechanical Shear

Scope of Work:
Replaced 4-way reversible shear blades
Took visual inspection and adjusted eccentric mechanical fly wheel
Replaced flywheel tapered roller bearing
Replaced main shaft phosphor bronze bearings
Replaced 3.00” diameter anti-friction cam rollers
Took visual inspection of blade clearance adjustment screw jacks
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Inspection Table Runout Conveyor

Scope of Work:
Replaced both conveyor belts
Replaced anti-friction ball bearings and inspect pulleys
Recoated polyurethane material pull out rolls
Replaced pull out roll roller bearings
Took inspection of table runout conveyor and made final adjustments
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Rotating Drop Stacker

Scope of Work:
Replaced cam rolls on overhead end stop
Replaced end stop drive chain
Replaced protective surface on all rotating stacker rails
Took visual inspection of actuator and clutch brake assembly of rotating stacker rail
Refurbished cylinders
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Exit Discharge Conveyor

Scope of Work:
Took visual inspection of all conveyor table associated clutches, brakes, and reducers
Inspected all conveyor roll bearings and replaced drive chains
Reassembled and made final adjustments
Cleaned and painted the equipment

Central Hydraulic Power Unit

Scope of Work:
Refurbished main hydraulic pump and pump compensator
Reassembled and made final adjustments
Cleaned and painted the equipment
